Christian County magistrates approved Tuesday the service contract with Todd County Fiscal Court in regard to housing stray animals at the Christian County Animal Shelter.
The agreement, approved annually, allows for strays to be housed at the shelter since Todd County Fiscal Court does not operate a facility.
The shelter is located at 2935 Russellville Road in Hopkinsville. As of August 1, Melissa Goff serves as interim director of the facility, after Irene Grace retired.
