Maggie Kulesza, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) teacher at Todd County Middle School in Elkton, had an exciting experience Friday with her students.
As she begins her first full year at the middle school, she considers it a true blessing. In order to familiarize her students with safety procedures and classroom expectations, she organized a hands-on chemistry lab. To make it even more special, she enlisted the help of six students’ parents/guardians to assist her during the lab, without the students knowing.
Collaborating with her talented colleagues, Kulesza devised a plan to create a memorable experience for the students and others. She wanted to share the joy and dedication of teachers with the county, so she captured photos of the lab. These pictures showcase the efforts teachers put into seeing their students’ smiling faces from morning until dismissal time. Kulesza emphasizes that their love for teaching is solely for the benefit of the children. She expresses her gratitude for being a part of the Todd County family and invites everyone to enjoy the photos.
