From January 2022 through March of this year, it’s hard to argue against the economic growth that’s been observed in Todd County.
In fact, during his Wednesday “Team Kentucky” update, Governor Andy Beshear announced that among Site Selection magazine’s recent Top 20 list of “America’s Best Counties by Projects, per Capita,” Todd County is fifth.
click to download audioFollowing at No. 7: Union County, with three projects totaling more than $27 million for investments and four new jobs. Shelby County came in at No. 14, with 10 projects totaling more than $541 million invested and 600 new jobs, and Simpson County at No. 17 with four projects totaling $384 million while creating more than 1,100 jobs.
Beshear said everyone, particularly county leadership, deserved credit.
